Located just minutes from the actual falls, Marineland® offers fun for the whole family.  At Marineland you will experience the thrill and sense of wonder that comes from a close encounter with amazing marine mammals.  The entertaining, educational and heart-warming presentations at the King Waldorf® Stadium featuring our dolphin, beluga whale, sea lion and walrus ambassadors leave you with a better understanding of and appreciation for these wondrous marine mammals.

At Arctic Cove™, Marineland's beluga whale habitat, you have the unique opportunity to touch and feed these friendly white whales and talk with passionate and dedicated animal caregivers who deeply love these animals. 

The park is also home to North American black bears, bison, elk, red deer and fallow deer. 

More thrills await you as the park features amusement rides such as one of the world's largest steel roller coasters and one of the world's highest triple tower rides along with a variety of other rides to suit all ages. 

Does Marineland have a water park or splash pad?

Marineland does not offer a water park or splash pad. You do not need a swim suit to visit the park.

What are the hours of operation?

Mid-May to End of June Admission booths are open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.

July and August Admission booths are open 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.

September and Early-October Admission booths are open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.

After ticket booths have closed, park activities continue until nightfall. King Waldorf's Stadium Show is presented at regular intervals throughout the day.  Check park map and show schedule posted at stadium upon arrival.

OPERATING SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Please re-confirm prior to your visit.  Marineland is open seven days a week including holidays.  Inclement weather may result in a change in the operation schedule.

What times can I see the Marine Mammal Show?

The King Waldorf Stadium Show featuring our dolphins, beluga whales, sea lions and walruses runs according to the following seasonal schedule:

Saturday of Victoria Day Weekend (generally mid-May to end of June) – 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. - (gates close at 5:00 p.m. so you must arrive prior to 5:00 p.m. to gain entry into the park – park activities remain open until just before nightfall or as business warrants).

July to Sunday of Labour Day Weekend – 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. (gates close at 6:00 p.m. so you must arrive prior to 6:00 p.m. to gain entry into the park – park activities remain open until just before nightfall).

Labour Day Monday to Sunday of Canadian Thanksgiving – 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. - (gates close at 5:00 p.m. so you must arrive prior to 5:00 p.m. to gain entry into the park – park activities remain open until just before nightfall or as business warrants).

Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure seat availability, early arrival is advised. Guests are not permitted entry once a show has begun.

Guests with strollers and wagons will be directed to park them, in designated areas, outside marine show theatres for reasons of safety. Please secure your stroller/wagon and its contents as Marineland is not responsible for their loss. 

Show schedule is subject to change. We recommend that you consult the park hand out map and show schedule made available to guests at admissions as well as the sign posted outside of the King Waldorf Stadium upon your arrival to confirm times.

Admissions rates are as follows:

Ages 13 and over Ages 5-12 Children 4 and under
$47.95 plus taxes $40.95 plus taxes FREE

Marineland has a no refund, no rain check policy. If you decide to cut your visit short due to weather, we suggest that you consider purchasing our Fun Card Season’s Pass while in the Park for only an additional $5.00 plus taxes per person. You can then revisit during improved weather conditions. The Fun Card must be purchased and picture I.D. must be taken on the day of initial visit before leaving the park – no exceptions.

Marineland’s admission fee includes all park attractions. The only extra charges are for arcade games, food, gift shop items and if you wish to feed the land animals and for the beluga whale interaction (touch and feed) at Arctic Cove. Feed cones for land animals are $2.95 (including taxes) and $9.25 (including taxes ) for the beluga interaction.

All rates are quoted in Canadian funds.

Do you charge a fee for parking?

No! All parking is free at Marineland.

For online ticket purchases, we only accept cards that are registered with either Verified by VisaTM or MasterCard SecureCodeTM payer authentication programs.

Do online tickets need to be printed before arrival to the park?

Entry to the park requires a PAPER ticket. Please ensure that your tickets are printed at home, in advance of your visit, as our system is not able to read electronic versions on cell phones, memory sticks or other electronic devices. Each guest requires a PAPER ticket to gain entry to the park, so please check your printer ink levels before printing. Printing on plain white paper is recommended.

If you are unable to print your tickets before arriving at the park, please visit our Group Sales window on the day of your visit. Our staff will be able to look up your order and print your tickets for you. You will need to bring the following:

  • the credit card used to purchase your tickets
  • photo ID
  • your order confirmation number - (if you do not have your order confirmation number, we can still look up your order and print your tickets, but you MUST have photo ID and the credit card that was used to purchase your tickets)

Does Marineland offer a Season’s Pass?

Yes, we do! All guests can upgrade their admission ticket to a Marineland Fun Card Season Pass for only $5.00 and enjoy unlimited admission to the park’s great attractions throughout the season in which it has been purchased. Fun Card Season Passes can be purchased with regular day passes online at https://www.marineland.ca/estore/ or at the park at the admission gate or at the Fun Card centre.

In order to obtain the Fun Card, all Fun Card purchasers must be present as picture I.D. is taken on the first /initial day of visit before leaving the park – sorry, but no exceptions. The pass is not transferable.

I forgot my Seasons Pass Can I Still Get Into The Park?

Yes, you can. Check in at the admissions booth with the sign that reads, Group Tours and Guest Relations. You will need to present identification and you will be charged a $5.00 replacement fee.

What happens when it rains at Marineland?

If rain occurs, all shows and viewing areas remain open. Amusement rides continue to operate with the following exceptions ad they have not been designed to run in very wet conditions – Lady Bug Coaster, Hurricane Cove and Viking Adventure.

While it is raining guests can take shelter in the restaurants, retail outlet or the underwater viewing areas at Arctic Cove and Friendship Cove.

What happens if there is adverse weather at Marineland (e.g. thunder, lightning, heavy downpours or high winds)?

If thunder and lightning occur, our Rides Maintenance Staff will determine if and when the rides need to close for a period of time. Shows and viewing areas will remain open.

During these times guests can take shelter in the restaurants, retail outlet or the underwater viewing areas at Arctic Cove and Friendship Cove.

Where Can I Find Discount Tickets to Marineland?

Tickets purchased online (https://www.marineland.ca/estore/) are reduced by $3.00 per person, CAA members presenting their membership card when they purchase tickets at the admissions gate receive $3.00 per person good for up to six persons. A discount coupon offering $3.00 off per person good for up to six persons can be found in the Attractions Niagara Coupon Book found at several information centres and hotels and motels in Ontario and Western New York. You should also check at your place of employment to see if your employer participates in one of our corporate discount programs.

Are pets permitted in the park?

Pets are not permitted in the park. Only trained service animals are allowed to enter. Please DO NOT leave your pet in your vehicle. Arrange to have your pet boarded or make arrangements to have your pet looked after at your home.

Trained service animals are welcome at Marineland in all areas with the exception of the Deer Park where the deer freely roam. Marineland may request a verification letter from a physician or nurse confirming that the person requires a service animal.

Is Marineland Accessible to Guests with Disabilities?

Marineland is pleased to welcome Guests with Disabilities. Our attraction offers many accessible features including parking spaces, wheelchair rentals, wheelchair seating in our show area, ramps in lieu of stairs and accessible washrooms for our guests with disabilities. The entire park is accessible with the exception of the lower level of the Aquarium Dome building, which houses a freshwater fish display and underwater viewing of a sea lion exhibit, and the Flying Dragon ride exit area. Both areas were designed and constructed years ahead of current accessibility standards.

Do Guests with Disabilities receive a discount?

Guests with disabilities receive a discount on admission rates. Accompanying support workers pay the regular admission rate. Marineland is not part of the Access to Entertainment Program.

Are there strollers or wheelchairs for rent at Marineland?

Yes! Both single and double strollers and regular, push-style wheelchairs are available to rent for a small fee at a location near the front gate. Check your park map upon arrival. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis, but we do have a generous supply of both. We do not have wagons, electric wheelchairs or scooters for rent.

Are there lockers available to place personal items?

Yes! Lockers are available to rent near the front of the park for a small fee. They are large enough to fit a small backpack. Lockers are approx.. 12” high x 17” wide x 24” deep.

Can I leave and re-enter Marineland?

Yes! If you do not have a Fun Card Season’s Pass, you can still exit and re-enter the park on the same day if you get your hand stamped prior to leaving the park. If you do not have a season’s pass or a stamp from the current day, you will not be granted re-entry. Please check the operating schedule to ensure that you re-enter Marineland before the admission gates close for the night.

Can we bring in our own food and drinks into Marineland?

Yes! You may bring food and beverages into the park. Alcoholic beverages and glass bottles are not permitted. Picnic areas with tables are located at the Family Picnic Area within the park's grounds. Check the park map when you arrive.

Yes! Marineland's on-site, cafeteria-style restaurant, The Hungry Bear, serves the following:

Rotisserie Chicken; Chicken Breast Strips; Halal Item; Pizza; Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Sausage & Hot Dog Platters; French fries, Nachos, Salads & Fruits, Soups, Bagels, Desserts, Soft drinks, Milk, Coffee & tea, Juices, Draft beer and Bottled water

Food Kiosks throughout the park serve: Soft ice cream, Waffle cones, Fresh popcorn, Soft drinks, Bottled water, Minute Maid frozen treats, Soft Pretzels, Nachos with cheese

Are there ATM’s available on site?

The location of ATM’s can be found on the park handout map and show schedule provided to guests at the admissions area. The ATM’s are located at the Main Entrance, the Whale Gift Shop and Hungry Bear Restaurant.

Is there a First Aid Booth?

First Aid is located at the front of the Park with our Guest Services Department. If you require immediate assistance for emergencies within the park, you can contact a Marineland Team Member who will be able to get the assistance you require.

If you lose an item at Marineland or have found belongings that are not yours, please visit the Guest Services office located at the front of the park. Please check your park map for exact location.
